Principal Research Scientist Audun Botterud is the lead researcher on the project "Improved Analytics for Urban Energy Distribution Grids with Smart Buildings," which received a 2017 Siebel Energy Institute research grant. Asu Ozdaglar, a professor in LIDS and the Joseph F. and Nancy P. Keithley Professor in Electrical Engineering, is the co-investigator on the project, which will develop advanced analytics to identify good solutions for planning and operation of urban energy distribution infrastructure, considering electricity, heating/cooling, and transportation.
